33 weeks

I'm to "that" point now and I almost find myself rolling my eyes when I look at this picture and say that, but honestly, this picture doesn't do the real life Sadie belly justice. This week I've been taking it much easier- more breaks, more water, more snacks, and I've felt much better than I did last week. I know there's really no hurry in getting Sadie's room all set, but I know if I don't do the majority of it now, it's going to be that much harder to go shopping and to-doing with 3 little ones. So, before she arrives, there are still some things I want to get for her room-

Curtains- (not the sheer, just the pink mini-dot curtain)
Shelf- thinking of painting it robin's egg blue and then sanding it up to make it look old. I found just what I wanted at an antique store last weekend. It was only $175!!! For a freakin shelf!!! Michael's has some that will work just perfectly.

I'm in love with this nursery! And I think this type of shelf is perfect. I have a couple of my baby dresses that I'd like to hang somewhere in Sadie's room and I think a shelf with pegs is just what I need.

Framing- while we were in Japan, they gave us some precious gifts, one of which that came with some beautiful cotton/fabric-like wrapping paper. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was going to have some part of Sadie's room. So, we're going to get the two different papers framed. I can't wait to find the perfect spot!

And last, but not least...

a sound machine- after getting one with Fount, I really think I'll want one with Sadie, especially since she'll be in a cradle in our room for around the first 6 months, not to mention she'll have a 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old brothers running around.

I've already set out everything we'll take to the hospital for Sadie- carefully not to forget the accessories she will soon need :) It was fun to pick out the first things she will wear. We have a ton of pictures in our stairway that I love looking at as we go up and down, but one of my favorite things to look at are the boy's shadow boxes, which include their going home outfits and birth announcement. Very special! I keep picturing Sadie's pink sleeper soon hanging beside her brother's and it makes me smile. As far away as my due date feels, I know it's just around the corner that, again, my life will be forever changed with another blessed child.
