Let the painting begin!

Holden's gotten to where he likes to wear costumes during the day. I call it "dress-up" (but I'm not sure if that's only a little girl term). He gets dressed up so often in these crazy costumes that he makes up, that I forget just how funny it really is and I've just gotten use to it. So, I'm going to start taking pictures of his every day wear. For instance, he wears a ski helmet almost all day.

I don't think Holden will be wearing his floaty suit today because it is absolutely freezing outside. We were going to go into DC today and go to the market, but quickly voted against it when we saw the weather. So, Tim decided to start painting our dining room :) To my happiness! I couldn't be more thrilled to see our red walls disappearing. It's the first room you see when you walk into our house and the dark color makes it feel so drabish. It's just not us and now that we own it, it's so exciting that we can finally begin to make changes. When you have little guys and you have to baracade everything, Tim's only able to do a wall at a time, or that's what he's planning on, so it'll be a gradual change. But very soon we will eat surrounded by cool, dove gray walls. Ahhh....pictures to come!

(Holden just told Tim- "The Bible says you have to paint good." Tim's so quick- he just told Holden, "...Yes, we should always work hard and do our best work...Mommy works hard, Daddy works hard, Holdie works hard...")
