Fount turns ONE!

Our Samuel Fount became a toddler on October 19th! Yes, I realize I'm a bit behind in posting it- sorry!

Can you see his recovering black eye? He had a tractor accident.

Enjoying his gluten-free chocolate chip cupcake. He would shake off the cupcake so that he could just eat the chocolate chip.

We celebrate his birthday with a party last weekend. It was small- just our neighbors and couple of friends. I think Fount enjoyed himself!

The happy birthday boy!

He sure loved his gluten-free chocolate cake! (I didn't, but that's not what mattered, right?)

Isn't he all grown up looking?

At one, Fount has truely perfected walking (he started walking just before he turned 10 months old) and now he's on to dancing. He loves hearing music or when we sing him a tune. After many months and weeks, he is finally sleeping anywhere from 5:30-6 in the morning, occassionally it's been longer, but that's a rarity. I think the angels were singing on his first successful morning of full sleep!

He wants to be right with Holden- his little shadow. It's so sweet to watch them together.

Fount's a pretty independent little guy. Not much of a cuddler- He's too busy running around pulling out toys or chasing down Holden. He's a tackler and Holden loves it.

I still can't break down and get his haircut. We went to Cartoon Cuts yesterday for Holden and I just couldn't do it. Looking at him, this morning, it needs to be done, but I love it. He has feather-like hair and it sticks up on top. So sweet. Once it gets cut, I think he's going to have to be a short-hair cut boy. Maybe after we get back from Japan I'll be able to do it...

I still can't believe he's going to be a big brother- my baby! Even though we'll have a youngest, I think I'll always see him as the baby.

(Tim will post his one year video soon. I don't understand how to put it up yet.)

Happy Birthday, little Fount! I know you are a blessing to your family and it's a blessing to see your smiling, sweet face. Congrats to the toddler and soon-to-be big brother.
