It's finally hot

planting flowers for me for Mother's Day

I have so many pictures to post of my sweeties. Every photo I take, I'm always surprised at how fast the boys are growing. Holden talks non-stop and loves to be outside. So you can imagine how much he's loving this summer weather. Thankfully, he doesn't mind wearing sunscreen a bit, which is nice because he's pretty fair complected. Looking back, I never liked wearing sunscreen. I'm pretty sure I threw many-a-fits. I can remember in middle school, promising my dad that I was going to wear a t-shirt at the pool. I only that because I knew he wouldn't let me go otherwise. Did I wear it? Of course not! What awkward middle school girl would be caught dead in an oversized t-shirt that made a big bubble around you in the pool? Anyway, with that said, because of my sunscreen dislike and denial of my pastiness, I aquired many terrible sunburns, that I hope won't come back to bite me in the days ahead. I've smartened up since then and wear sunscreen daily, applying to the boys just as diligently. Aveeno has a great smell and doesn't make me oily, which I love. I also go to the dermatologist once a year to get a full body check, and so far, have had to have 4 things removed. Luckily, everything has come out just fine. We took Holden on Friday to have his stitches taken out from his freckle removal and he was a champ. He didn't squirm or cry once, just sat in my lap and let the dr do his work. The lab results on the freckle came out just as we expected, so we are relieved. On our way to the mall for his Chick-Fil-A and ice cream prize, he said, "That doctor was snipping my hair off." :) Here's a picture of his stitches on Friday morning:

This picture is just for kicks. He put on my headband the other night and it actually looked cute with his curls...

Fount is fearlessly pulling up on everything. He's only 7 months, so he has no idea what he's doing. All he knows is that he'd rather be standing.
If you click on the right picture, you'll be able to see his first tooth! (His bottom left)
