Isn't this funny? This is one of Holden's favorite things to do- stack everything random he can find and pretend it's a space shuttle.
I just got a call from the lady who schedules the surgeries and booked Wednesday, May 12th for Holden's freckle surgery. The doctor quickly ran through things with us yesterday. They'll start out by giving him gas, like the kind you get at the dentist, and then follow with an IV to make sure he'll be out like a light and won't feel a thing. The nurse will be calling us with more detailed instructions for the surgery day. I'm praying that Tim and I will be able to be with him as he's falling to sleep so he won't be scared. So far, we haven't gotten a time, but the lady should be calling us back soon. If the dates work out, I'll be lucky enough to have my friend, Liz, watch Fount so we can completely focus on Holden that day. I need to be keeping my eye out for pre and post surgery prises!
Here are my favorite guys relaxing last Sunday afternoon. Our bellies were stuffed to the max with CiCi's Pizza! You can't beat the price! Holden could barely wrap his mind around macaroni pizza- two of his favs, although, he calls it "rock-a-roni." I hope he never stops.
We sure made some beautiful boys!
Yesterday Holden told me, "I broke the sound barrier, Mama."

I bet they let you go back there while he is falling asleep. Surely they know these little boys want their parents!
And that space shuttle rocks!
My friend got to stay with her son until he fell asleep when he was getting tubes, so I'm thinking it's common.
