Yes, I am absolutely obsessed beyond belief with this giggle box.
Just look at the bazillion pictures I posted him. We call him "butter bean." I know we'll have to stop that before he's in middle school too long. But for now I can't help it :) Among giggles, his vocabulary now consists of "Da Da." So exciting! He says it all the time.
Right now he's chewing on everything, but so far, there's not a tooth insight. Just loads of drool and slobber. He's a bib wearer, that's for sure. Since he's a reflux baby, we have to always be prepared. I'm pretty sure mine and Tim's reflexes have improved since we had him. We're pretty quick at catching handfuls of spit-up. Bless his heart. He smiles right through it.
He began rice cereal tonight and loved it. I'm not a bit surprised. The Alimentum formula he downs every day is terrible. Rice cereal was a treat!
He also grabbed his feet for the first time while he was in the tub tonight. It was really sweet. Reminded me of this picture of Holden.
Last night he woke up 3 different times and consumed three 6 ounce bottles everytime. I swear he felt heavier this morning! He must be having a growth spurt, because it's rare for him to even wake up once during the night. What a great nighttime sleeper he is. He and Holden both. Fount's not much for daytime naps. He's more of a cat napper, unless he's had a rough night (like last night- he only napped for 45 minutes today), or we're out and about and he's either in the carseat or the sleepy wrap. Nap or no nap, he's still happy!
Fount is incredibly smiley. He turned 5 months old on Friday. Wow.Sometimes it seems just like yesterday and sometimes it seems like he's always been here with us. We're still trying to figure out who he looks like...I think he has Mim's eyes (Tim's grandmother). They really sparkle.
He's crazy about Holden. He's all smiles and giggles whenever his big brother kisses, hugs, talks, or takes notice to him. It makes me so eager for them to be playmates. Nothing phases him. I like that about him. He just goes with the flow, a lot like Holden. Makes me think they'll be nice companions.
He's a social butterfly, I can already tell. He loves for people to look at him, which really comes in handy when we leave him in the church nursery. They say "He's a pleasure" and I have to agree :) That's the exact word I would use to describe Fount- a pleasure.
In case you're wondering what Holden was like at 5 months...It was fun to look back.
