So we're bracing ourselves for the big winter storm that should be heading our way late this morning. Tim went ahead and drove in today for a few hours, so I'm hoping he'll be able to get out of the city before the roads get too bad. We're expecting anywhere from 16-24 inches, and that's on top of what's already on the ground. Not too terribly much is left, because we've had a couple of warmer days, but it's still there. I went to the grocery store on Wednesday and got us all stocked. It was a madhouse in there. I guess everyone had the same idea. The store was running low on a lot of items. Cookie Dough ice cream was no where to be found...We're just about out of Alimentum, so Tim picked up that, baby Motrin, and baby grape Tylenol (it has to be grape or it comes right back up), on his way to work this morning- 3 major things that will get us through this weekend. Holden's sick... I usually order Fount's formula online through
MZ Med. (Thanks, Melissa!) It's just too easy to order in bulk than to go to the grocery store everytime we get low- plus, it's a great deal. I ordered some earlier this week, but I never got a confimation number, so I don't know what happened...maybe I didn't finish clicking something. I've also been ordering
diapers and wipes online as well, which really cuts down on my Target trips (
tear).
Holden woke up two nights ago with a high fever and congestion. Who knows where he picked it up. Maybe it was when he licked the chair in the mall...(
sick...but it happened). He doesn't seem to be feeling any better this morning, although he did get a two hour nap in, which made up for waking up at 4 this morning, bless his heart. He's just miserable. However, before The Office came on last night, he and Tim watched rockets on the computer. That really seemed to be the cure, atleast it worked for a few hours.

I am sorry that Holden is sick. I hope that a little TLC from Mom and Dad will get him back to normal soon. Sounds like a huge storm coming your way. Up to 24 inches?! We wouldn't know what to do with that! Stay warm and safe. Hope that Tim has made it home!
Thanks, Steph. Holden's doing much better this afternoon. He threw up this morning :( and still has a fever, but he's playing, so that's a good sign.
Tim made it home well. He said there was a lot of traffic. So far the snow isn't bad. It's falling fast, but it's on the wet side, so it'll start accumulating more this evening when the temp drops. Look for pictures!
Hope you're doing well. I am enjoying your blog. Gavin is so beautiful, Steph. He looks so much like his Daddy!
