For the first time in a while, Fount woke up at 2am starved, so when I came downstairs and saw a light snow, I thought that maybe it wasn't going to be as bad as they predicted. Now I know I was wrong. I took these pictures about 7am this morning, right before the heavy snow started to become a blizzard. So there's no comparison as to how the outside of our house looks now. The backyard is a sight to see! The snow and trees are blowing like crazy. The gusts have been up to 46mph around here. Needless to say, it looks like Tim will be stuck at the hospital again tonight. Good news is, he's going to try to head out tomorrow around lunch for a long weekend. I can still see pretty well here, but in DC, there is almost zero visability. Almost no one is out on the roads- only the crazies. Most people, I've seen on the news that have to be at work are walking. It's really bad. I'll take more pictures later on in the day. The worst is suppose to be over by 7pm. So far we still have electricity!

That is just nuts! We have had a pretty snowy winter for Texas, that nothing compared to the blizzards you guys are seeing. Glad you and the boys are tucked away nice and warm! Get those candles and flashlights ready! :)
