What a snow!
It started snowing here late Saturday morning and continued the entire day. It was so pretty. I don't think I'll ever get over the funness of snow. I'm sure Holden and Fount will be much more accustomed to it than Tim and I are. We actually tried to venture out on the barely plowed streets, but I was driving, so we ended up coming home. I had a death grip on the steering wheel. No need. I wasn't going over 10 mph. Sorry we missed Sophie's party, Holden.
Today was special. I took Holden out to play in the backyard. Just us. Just 3 months ago, it was "just us" a lot, so I really find myself missing those little moments. As much as I love spending time with both my boys and cuddling them together in the recliner or holding them both in the morning while trying to fix breakfast...Spending some one on one time with each of them will always be such a special thing.
Notice the missing boot
They're both growing up so fast. Fount's already holding his little self up on his elbows and he wants to stand all the time. Naps are the only time he gives his super-flexed legs a break. Nothing phases him. He just goes with the flow. I guess I would say he's growing like a weed (if I were still in TX). Here he is today:
I got alot conquered today- thanks to my wonderful husband. I actually blow-dryed my hair for the first time in a long time. It felt nice. I always like the way my hair feels after I blow dry and then straighten it. But, most importantly, I got caught up on the laundry. I usually try to stick to the "do one load a day" plan, but for some reason, I've strayed from that for the last couple of weeks. Boy did I learn my lesson. With a reflux baby, I'm constantly changing mine and his clothes, not to mention the burp cloths I go through a day. The spit up is ridiculous, but he smiles right through it and it never seems to bother him. After today, though. I think I'll go back to the "do one load a day, plus the kids" laundry. I think that's a better plan.

I just love that picture of you and Holden (with one boot) in the snow. So much fun! I remember doing laundry non-stop when Gavin had his reflux problem. Seemed like I went through numerous blankets, burp cloths, and onesies a day!
