So we're kicking off this new year with a trip to Texas. While Holden was eating lunch today, we were talking about going to Texas and he said, "Texas Roadhouse?..." I think it's going to be alot of fun. It'll be Fount's first big trip. I'm sure Holden will show him the ropes of good travel. I've never had to pack bottles and formula before for a trip. It's taking up so much room...Whatever Tim and I need with us has to squeeze into one of Holden or Fount's bags. No more "InStyle" magazine reading for me on the flight. It's all about the entertainment these days! I'll have to try to remember to take a picture of us with all of our gear. I'm sure it'll be a sight. Thankfully we're checking Fount's carseat and two suitcases, so all we'll have left are 2 strollers, Holden's massive carseat, a backpack, an at capacity diaper bag, a sleepy wrap, and 2 smiley boys!
We're just about all packed. This morning Holden tried on his "G suit" for Uncle Jeremiah's wedding and we could barely pry it off of his two year old grip. He loves it!
This is Holden and Tim last summer on our way home from Texas. The ipod seems to keep him pretty chill.

I wish we could see each other while you are in Texas! If for some odd reason you make it up to Lubbock, give me a call. You guys have a blast with family and be safe.
Make sure that they don't charge you for the carseat; they should courtesy check it. And you're allowed liquids for the bottle, so no need to wait to buy water post-security (a lesson I learned on our trip home from St. Croix...you can even fill a sippy cup with liquids for Holden!).
