19 months old

On Thursday, the 9th, our sweet Holden turned 19 months old. Sometimes I feel like he's much older than that, even though he's still so tiny. I couldn't have asked for a more kind and polite child. To add to his sweetness, here are some things he does-

• Hides in the pantry.
• Called Tim "buddy" the other night.
• Calls the pillows in his bedroom "Grandmother" (she makes him pillowcases).
• Told Tim and I "careful" as we were passing him between the two of us on the plane.
• Loves to be outside!
• Has flushed a paci and a harmonica down the toilet.
• When he's talking to his baby brother or any other baby, he talks in a super high pitched squeaky voice. It's hilarious.
• If he's outside, he wants a stick. Once he has it, he pretends that he's vacuuming with it.
• Every thing can be a vacuum.
• If he sees something on the floor or something is in disaray, he says, "Mess!" "Vacuum!" For instance, we went to get his hair cut the other day and he kept saying, "Mess!" "Vacuum!"

I think every age is my favorite, but this one really is. I can't imagine spending my days any other way. He keeps me busy and on my toes, but he's also starting to be my little friend. What a beautiful person he is!
