Crazy Card Lady
Holden and I went to Target today. We were out of so much. We needed every thing from cleaning supplies to diapers to Father's Day cards--which leads me to my purpose of this blog today. Whenever I'm picking out a card for someone, it seems to take me a decade to find just the right one, especially now that almost all of them are musical. While Holden settled down with a morning cookie snack (gotta stay healthy), I went out in search for the perfect Father's Day cards. Since Holden has 3 Grandpas and an amazingly wonderful Daddy, I knew it was going to take me at least half an hour. While I was reading one of those cards that no one buys with the sailboat on the front, I heard some card commotion to my right. As I looked over, I saw this lady blowing through cards and grabbing them like it was the millennium or something. She was stock piling! It was crazy. Envelopes were flying. In 10 seconds flat, she was done and had two handfuls of cards to prove it and she was off. How personal. But at least she's thinking to get cards. I just hope Grandpa doesn't end up with an anniversary card or something...

Ha ha - Obviously she will just read the cards at home. I'm with you... it takes me forever to pick out cards. I actually looked for 20minutes at Walmart the other day and decided there was nothing there I liked. Sad, but true! I will try Target now!
