There's not much to update. This weekend was pretty uneventful, except for a much needed trip to the grocery store, the fabric store, and two trips to Home Depot. (Isn't that what old peoples weekends sound like?....) The rain has kept us inside for days and days. I can't complain, though. I look out the window and every thing is so beautifully green and I think about my farming folks down in Anson, Texas who are desperate for a single drop of rain. Holden woke up on Saturday morning saying "shoes. sli (for slide)." He was ready to go. He knows Daddy always takes him to do something fun on the weekends and I think the rain made him antsy.
Today, play group was at our house. It was smaller than usual today, with only 2 moms and their toddlers. The other 2 ladies had things come up and another, Elizabeth, (my sweet, dear, special friend) gave birth to a beautiful daughter this past Friday. (Congratulations!!!) That's 1 down and 4 more to go! The other 3 pregnancies are very close to one another, so we're all excited with baby fever! Holden has really started to interact with the other children during play group, which is so fun to watch. Today he gave the little girls "love," which is where he lays his head on them really gently. As much as he enjoys play group, I know I enjoy it even more. There's just something really special about getting together with other moms that are in the same boat as you. I'm so thankful God has put them in my life!
For your enjoyment-
(Notice the Krispy Kremes in the back left?...Yep I'm pregnant!)
