19 Weeks

He's definitely in there. I feel bigger by the day. I'm almost halfway there, according to the 40 week standard of pregnancy. Yay! If this one is any thing like Holden, they'll come promptly on their due date, no matter how much squatting, hiking, and jumping jacks I do. So far I am really loving my second trimester. And, at 19 weeks, I feel like I'm back to normal.

The last 2 weeks have been hard on Holden. He's been cutting his four eye teeth, so, up until the last couple of nights, sleeping has been pretty rough on him. He woke up Saturday night and said, "Tylenol?" He's even taken it out on "pah pah"- his beloved paci. Since his gums hurt so bad, he's been using "pah pah" to chew on, and in doing so, he practically ate through the very last 3 of his pacis. When he's trying to go to sleep, he can't keep them in his mouth because the suck has been broken (it's pretty sad). Sad for both of us, in a way...this is the last baby thing he does... So, last night as I was rocking him, I realized that it's time to say goodbye to his beloved. Today I plan on cutting the remainder of the paci nipple. We'll see how it goes. Wish us luck!
