Around 12 weeks with Holden

Right after we told our family about Holden. I was about 9 1/2 weeks.
I've always said, "If you're only going to write once a month, at the most, why have a blog?" And to those of you who's blogs I've silently mumbled that to, please forgive me. I was totally not expecting to feel as crappy as I have. But it's a good kind of crappy. If you're a mommy, you know the kind :) My "morning sickness"--which I strongly put in quotations because it's been more like all day sickness. Whoever thought to name it "morning sickness" was an idiot. Any way, it hit me right at 6 weeks and got progressively worse each day. At week 8, we finally broke down and went to the ER. I had never been to the ER before, and I have to say, it was not at all like the show. However, I did get to hear one crazy woman scream profanities and walked in on a homeless guy peeing, but I was high on meds, so it didn't phase me. After leaving the hospital, I felt so much better--still nauseous, but not so weak. I have my bad days and my bad part of the days, but, staying up on my nausea medication is what saves me.
So far, we haven't taken any belly pictures, but let me tell you, what you hear is true--you show much sooner in your second pregnancy. We'll be scanning our last sono pictures soon.
After my first dr's appointment, we were told to expect our little one on October 21st. So, that would make me 10 weeks as of yesterday.

Yea! You are back! And you are already 1/4 of the way through the pregnancy. I can't wait to see belly and sono pics. I love the flashback pics to Holden too! Love you!
Maybe the little one will hold on one extra day. Then he could share my birthday! LOL! So glad you're feeling better.
So happy for you all!
You poor thing. Hang in there, momma! I'm praying for you.
