You can imagine my surprise when I walked in to get Holden up from his nap and found his hair in a craze. This is his first bat with bedhead and from the looks of the thinness and texture, it doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon. It might if I could break down and give it a trim, but I can't even let myself go there. That's his baby hair. The hair that grew on his little head in the womb for goodness sake. I'm not about to let go of it yet! Maybe it's the Burt's Bees body wash causing his hair to become unruly...
Any way, today Tim and I went to pick up Holden from the nursery and we found him asleep, which never happens. After going through the run through, the lady holding him told me that a little girl had pulled his hair and that he got very upset. (That's when I noticed the "glazed donut" that covered his nose). "And rightly so," I was thinking, as I searched the nursery over for the bully. The lady said that every time Holden saw the little girl, he would start crying all over again. Isn't that pitiful? So, tonight as I was putting him to bed, I just had to hold him a little longer.
Next Sunday, I'm keeping my eye out.
