Can I help you?

Wow... Is it fall already?

Today I found my phone being eaten. While I was trying to wrestle it away from Holden, I got a phone call, but to my surprise, no matter what button I pushed, I could neither answer, nor hang up the incoming call. Weird. My first thought was that Holden had somehow locked my keypad, which, naturally, I have no password to. Isn't that always how it goes. After getting nowhere with the directions I found online, I decided to make my way to the AT&T/Cingular store. If you've never been there, let me paint the picture for you. Note:Every store is the same. (I'll use my nice words). When you walk in, you're greeted by--wait, you're never greeted. Instead, you have to march all the way to the back of the store, to a group of guys (I'll refrain from any description- if you can't say any thing nice, don't say any thing at all), where I'm sure they're working their fingers to the bone on some new gadget because they're all gathered in a circle. The group will rock, paper, scissors someone to "help" you, but all they'll really do is look at you like you're wasting their time and then you'll leave. So productive.
Since I've been home, my phone has, approximately, on it's own dialed Tim five times. It's like it's alive...
I love him.

Wow. What a story. So you didn't get any help? Next time you can say, well, this experience will certainly help me with my secret shopper form--And what is your name again? Maybe that will spur them on to action.
