5 months

Yes, I know it's May and he's on a snowflake blanket. It's soft!

Today marks Holden's 5th month. Gosh, it's hard to even say...Oh how my baby is growing! Even at 5 months, I can see his independence peaking through. Unless we're reading "The Red Ripe Strawberry" or "Green Eggs and Ham," tummy time quickly gets old. He's at the point now where he desperately wants to crawl. He can sort of scoot himself, but he mainly ends up shoving his little face into the quilt while he's feet and legs work like crazy to move him only an inch or two. Two days ago he actually managed to scoot himself across the entire quilt! I was so proud of him!

He chews on every thing nowadays! So far, his 2 teeth have yet to make their big debut. As for now, tylenol and teething tablets are our new best friend! Ha Ha!

We had a mini crisis two weekends ago. Holden's Mr. Giraffe rattle went missing. Thankfully, I was able to order another one. However, this one doesn't rattle. The rattle is there, but nothing happens. I think he knows...
